Job Description
An opportunity is available for a skilled candidate to provide support in an engaging elementary school environment. This part-time position is located in Irving, TX, with a focus on serving students across two campuses: Rowlett and Sunnyvale.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- ASHA Certified Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with articulation disorders and language delays
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to pass a background check and work on site
Location: Irving, TX, serving primarily at the Rowlett and Sunnyvale elementary schools.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders, focusing on articulation and language delays
- Develop tailored therapy plans to meet the individual needs of a diverse K-6th grade caseload
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt therapy as needed
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and staff regarding speech and language interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with educational regulations

This role offers approximately 10 hours per week, aligned with school hours from 7:55 AM to 3:15 PM. The position is set to begin in August, with a manageable caseload that may evolve as students enroll over the summer.
