An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in supportive classrooms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families.
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant state regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders, focusing on individual needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive support.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as required.
- Document services provided and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as available.
