Job Description
An engaging opportunity is available for skilled candidates seeking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is located in Joliet, IL, and focuses on providing essential communication support to students during the extended school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Experience with CFY supervision is a plus
- Prior experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
- Joliet, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students' overall development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor their effectiveness
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment

This position runs from June 10th through July 1st, with orientation on June 9th. Hours will typically be 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM, except for the last day when hours will be adjusted.
