An opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional specializing in Speech-Language Pathology within an educational setting. This contract position is situated in Junction City, OR, and spans the entire school year, allowing for an impactful engagement with K-12 students.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies
Location:
Junction City, OR
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on individual assessments
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes
- Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
