Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with disabilities
- Strong skills in providing push-in services
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location:
- Kansas City, KS
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs to address individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies
- Provide mostly push-in services to support students within their classroom settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and service delivery
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
