Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas state license in SLP.
- Experience working with K-12, particularly those with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and students.
- Ability to implement push-in services within the classroom.
- Prior experience managing a caseload of students, preferably around 20.
Location:
- Kansas City, MO, within a supportive K-12 school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for students with visual impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement push-in services, facilitating inclusive learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Engage in regular communication with students, parents, and educational staff regarding student development and needs.
