Job Description
A dedicated and skilled professional is sought to provide vital speech-language pathology services to students in an elementary and middle school setting. This full-time position is based in Kent, WA, for the current school year, focusing on supporting K-12 students with their communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Communication Disorders
- Valid Washington State SLP license
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) seeking supervision are encouraged to apply
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
