Job Description
A skilled professional is sought to provide part-time services within a K-12 educational setting. This role requires a dedicated individual to support students' communication needs for 2-5 hours per week, ensuring that each child receives the guidance and resources necessary for their development.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Location:
- Kent, WA
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students needs.
- Develop and maintain IEPs, setting measurable goals and tracking progress.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to enhance students' communication skills.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
