The roles available include two positions at the elementary level and one at the high school level, catering to a diverse K-12 student population with a caseload of approximately 55 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Clinical Fellows and SLPAs with school-based experience welcome to apply
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents.
- Strong communication and intervention skills.
Location:
- La Quinta, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students on your caseload, addressing various speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student achievement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Implement communication strategies and interventions as outlined in IEPs.
