An engaging opportunity awaits for a skilled professional specializing in speech-language pathology within an educational setting. This role focuses on providing comprehensive support to students aged Pre-K to 21, fostering effective communication skills for a diverse group of 25 learners.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Location:
- La Vista, NE, serving a K-12 school community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students communication goals.
- Engage in professional development and maintain licensure requirements.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and needs.
