An exciting opportunity awaits for a licensed professional ready to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 educational setting. This position is located in Lake Charles, LA, for the 2025-2026 school year and is available for both part-time and full-time candidates.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location: Lake Charles, LA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to evaluate students speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement appropriate IEPs based on assessment results
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
