Job Description
An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF).
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, tailored to their specific goals.
- Monitor and document student progress through regular assessments and reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and necessary interventions.
