Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CF-SLP).
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current state licensure in speech-language pathology.
Location:
Lake Charles, LA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff.
- Conduct therapy sessions in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
