An excellent opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists in a K-12 educational setting in Lakewood, WA. This contract position spans the school year, offering a dynamic environment where you can make a significant impact on students' communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY or CCC)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders
Location:
- Lakewood, WA, with coverage across Pacific, Mason, Thurston, and Grays Harbor Counties
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students
- Develop and implement tailored therapy programs based on individual needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and IEP outcomes
- Conduct both virtual and onsite interviews as part of the hiring process
- Manage a caseload of Pre-K through 12th-grade students
