A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a contract position in a dynamic K-12 educational environment in Las Vegas, NV. This role is essential for providing targeted support to students across various grade levels, ensuring that their communication needs are effectively met.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with preschool through 12th-grade students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location:
- Las Vegas, NV
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and engage in continuous professional development
- Manage a caseload of 45-50 students, addressing their variable needs
