Job Description
A full-time position is available for a certified professional in Speech-Language Pathology for the upcoming full semester at a K-12 school setting located in Leavenworth, KS. This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to work primarily with elementary and middle school students, providing essential speech and language therapy services to support their educational development.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conducting assessments and documenting student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to student success through interdisciplinary communication
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY)
- Experience working with children in educational settings, especially K-12 populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work 40 hours per week onsite
