Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support young learners in their communication development. This position is based in Lebanon, PA, and focuses on working within various early childhood settings, including preschools and special education classrooms.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; open to Clinical Fellows in Year (CFY)
- Experience working with early childhood populations, particularly in special education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to preschool and early intervention students
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement and monitor IEP goals
- Conduct regular progress evaluations and adjust therapy approaches as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences
