Job Description

An opportunity exists for dedicated professionals to provide critical speech-language services in an early childhood educational setting. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing the communication skills of young learners and are ready to make a meaningful impact from August 2025 to May 2026.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
  • Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) supervision experience
  • Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with preschool-aged children
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and communication disorders

Location:
Lincoln, NE

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders, developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment in preschool classrooms
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement strategies that support students' communication needs
  • Manage a caseload of PK (3-5 year old) students, ensuring tailored and effective intervention
  • Conduct regular progress assessments and adjust therapy goals as needed
  • Engage and educate families regarding their child's progress and strategies to support development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care
