Engage students in their learning journey by providing essential speech and language services in a supportive K-12 environment. This role focuses on covering various medical and maternity leaves, allowing for meaningful contributions to student development from August to May.
Qualifications:
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) or SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellow Year)
- Valid Colorado Department of Education special provider license
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
- Proficiency in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluate students to determine speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students
- Provide direct speech and language therapy and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records as required by state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
