An opportunity exists for a skilled candidate to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This part-time position involves working with a diverse caseload, focusing on enhancing communication skills for children and adolescents.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong case management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
Location:
- Los Banos, CA, serving a K-12 student population
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Manage a caseload of 26 students, with a focus on 15 as a case manager
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to facilitate students communication goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation for IEPs
