Job Description
A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in speech-language pathology within an educational setting. This role is set in Lowell, MA, at a K-12 school, where the focus will be on supporting the communication needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school setting, preferred
- Strong assessment and therapeutic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
