Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on K-12 education
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred; 70% of the district's population is bilingual
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
Lowell, MA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
