Job Description
Seeking a skilled speech-language pathologist to provide essential communication support in an elementary school setting for the upcoming semester. This role involves delivering in-person speech services five days a week, catering to the diverse needs of students.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current state licensure as a speech-language pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Location:
- Mahomet, IL
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans based on individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Provide consultation and training to staff regarding speech and language development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
