An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional ready to contribute to the educational development of students in a K-12 setting. This full-time contract position is based in Marietta, GA, and is designed for someone who is passionate about providing speech-language services and making a meaningful impact on student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist License
- GaPSC Speech-Language Pathologist Certification
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students, is highly preferred
- Strong skills in developing and reviewing IEPs
- Ability to conduct evaluations and monitor student progress
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location:
Marietta, GA
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess student needs and progress
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Attend and participate in educational meetings and professional development
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid billing requirements and documentation
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
