Job Description
A part-time opportunity is available for a skilled professional to support high school students with diverse learning needs. This role is designed for the upcoming semester, focusing on providing targeted SLP services to a varied caseload.
Location: Matteson, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt strategies as required.
- Deliver services onsite, ensuring direct support to students throughout the school day.
- Attend required meetings, including IEP and staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in SLP or related field.
- Valid state licensure and certification (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with high school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
