Job Description
A skilled professional is sought for a full-time contract position in Medina, OH, within a K-12 school setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This role is crucial in providing support and services to students requiring speech-language pathology interventions, ensuring their communication needs are effectively met.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
