An exciting opportunity exists for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to contribute to the educational journey of young learners in an engaging and supportive environment. This contract position is based in Milwaukee, WI, within an elementary school setting, focusing on early childhood and elementary needs for the 2024-2025 school year.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Hold either a Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) or a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in school settings, particularly with early childhood and elementary students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Proficient in conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to facilitate effective communication strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions to support diverse learners
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
