Qualifications:
- Certification (SLP-CCC)
- Masters degree in SLP or related field
- State licensure as a SLP
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of best practices in speech and language therapy
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Develop and maintain IEPs tailored to individual student goals
- Conduct regular progress assessments and adjust therapy as required
- Offer guidance and support to school staff regarding speech and language development
- Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions in a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
