Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Provide direct therapy services and interventions to students requiring speech-language support.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Masters degree in SLP or related field.
- Previous experience working in an elementary setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of current best practices in speech and language therapy.
