An opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in speech-language pathology within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Morris, IL, for the duration of the school year, allowing for a meaningful impact on students' communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure or appropriate credentials for practice
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Morris, IL (K-12 School Setting)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate students learning and communication
