An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled professional specializing in the field of speech-language pathology within an elementary school setting. This contract position is based in Nashua, NH, and is designed for individuals dedicated to enhancing the communication skills of students.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy.
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs, focusing on students goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech and language development into the classroom.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their childs progress and needs.
