Location: New Haven, CT
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with faculty and parents.
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention.
- Facilitate IEP meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment on student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut state speech-language pathology license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) status.
- Experience working with high school-aged students in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of feeding and swallowing disorders is preferred.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus.
