Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut state speech-language pathology license
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Experience with school-age populations, particularly K-8
  • CFY supervision experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in feeding and swallowing techniques

Location:

  • New Haven, CT

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, ensuring tailored instruction
  • Lead and participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and necessary interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
