Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut state Speech-Language Pathology license
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) or CFY (Clinical Fellow Year)
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary and middle school students
- Knowledge of feeding and swallowing disorders is preferred
- Familiarity with conducting IEP meetings and evaluations
- ASL experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and direct therapy to students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Conduct IEP meetings and develop tailored intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance communication skills among students
