Qualifications:
- Current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Recent graduates with a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with high school students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills in speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
- New Haven, CT
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
- Conduct therapy sessions in a one-on-one and group setting, tailored to student needs
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
