Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Previous experience working with K-12 students, particularly in special education settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes
Location:
- New Kensington, PA
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapeutic services to students in need of speech and language support
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff
- Implement effective communication strategies tailored to each students needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote successful communication skills
