Qualifications:
- Certified Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY).
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills in speech and language disorders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Location:
- Newport News, VA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to meet the needs of your caseload.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement IEP goals in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.
