We are excited to share an opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide speech services in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This position focuses on delivering comprehensive support to students across four school sites, ensuring that their communication needs are effectively met.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Virginia
- Experience in teletherapy and school settings
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process
Location:
- Norfolk, VA
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided

This position runs for the full semester, offering a structured schedule with approximately 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM hours. An orientation and training period may be available in July 2025 for a smooth transition into the role.
