Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision experience preferred
- Strong background in school-based speech therapy
- Valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with diverse student populations is a plus
Location:
- Norfolk, VA (Elementary School Setting)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnosis for students requiring speech and language services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Provide direct therapy to students and monitor their progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' communication goals
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and needs
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
