An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide essential speech-language pathology services in a K-12 educational setting. This role involves working across two campuses, offering valuable support to students with diverse communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with IEPs and the special education process
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
Location:
- North Las Vegas, NV
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support students' goals
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor students' progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program development
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Support students in developing communication skills necessary for academic success
