Location: Oakland, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with special education teams to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Deliver instruction using a pull-out model, focusing on students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other professionals regarding student development.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in special education settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
