Engage your expertise in a dynamic educational setting focused on supporting elementary students with speech and language needs. Located in Oakland, CA, this role offers the opportunity to work with diverse student populations in two full-time positions for the upcoming school year.

Location: Oakland, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with special education teams to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Deliver instruction using a pull-out model, focusing on students with mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other professionals regarding student development.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in special education settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
