This contract position is designed for professionals who are passionate about supporting students with communication disorders. The role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment focused on fostering student growth and development. This contract is Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Communication Disorders
- Valid State Certification and Credentials
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with middle school-aged students
- CCC or CFY in Speech Language Pathology welcomed
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
