An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in a high school setting. This role is designed for the full semester, allowing for meaningful impact on students communication needs from August 7 to May 22. The position is based in Omaha, NE, within a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with high school students
- Ability to assess and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders
Location: Omaha, NE
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate IEPs based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students
- Manage a caseload of 100 or more students, ensuring effective service delivery
- Maintain documentation and progress reports as required
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
