Job Description

A unique opportunity awaits for a skilled professional specializing in speech-language pathology within an educational setting. This position focuses on providing essential services to a diverse K-12 student population, addressing the varying communication needs of approximately 25 students from Pre-K to 21 years old.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Proficiency in assessing and treating a range of speech and language disorders

Location: Omaha, NE

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to support individual goals
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication strategies
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and review
• Provide direct therapy services and monitor the effectiveness of interventions
