This position focuses on providing essential services to a diverse K-12 student population, addressing the varying communication needs of approximately 25 students from Pre-K to 21 years old.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Proficiency in assessing and treating a range of speech and language disorders
Location: Omaha, NE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to support individual goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and review
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor the effectiveness of interventions
