Job Description
An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide specialized services in an educational setting. This position serves a diverse group of students aged Pre-K to 21, focusing on meeting the individual needs of 25 learners for the full school year, from August 2025 to May 2026. The role is designed for a 0.6 FTE, ensuring a flexible and impactful engagement within the school community.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and execute tailored therapy plans to support each student
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall development of students
