Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Previous experience working in K-12 schools is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding therapy in schools.
Location: Orange, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement tailored therapeutic interventions based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students IEP goals.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions in a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
