An opportunity is available for a skilled professional within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is situated in Owosso, MI, and is designed for the upcoming school year, focusing on providing essential support to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid state licensure as a SLP.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to facilitate student success.
- Monitor and document students progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
