Job Description

In a supportive K-12 educational environment, professionals will provide specialized speech-language pathology services to students during the extended school year. This contract position is located in Palo Alto, CA, where dedicated individuals will play a crucial role in enhancing students' communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with various speech and language disorders

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Conduct screenings to identify students who may require further evaluation
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students overall development
  • Provide support and resources to families regarding speech and language development
