A dynamic opportunity is available for a dedicated professional specializing in speech-language pathology within an educational setting. This role is focused on providing essential support to students in a K-12 environment, ensuring that their communication needs are met effectively.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License
- CCC-SLP certification preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Location:
- Patagonia, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for students on your caseload
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support students communication goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Provide direct services to approximately four students, ages K-8th grade
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals
