This position is designed for a skilled clinician ready to take on a full-time caseload, focusing on the diverse needs of students from ASAP until the end of the school year, with the potential for renewal.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly with middle school populations
- Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech and language support
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate integrated support for students
- Conduct meetings with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
